Assessing Resilience and Resistance in Iran

Is regime change possible?

Last summer, Dr. David DiOrio and I completed a study which assessed the resiliency of the Iranian regime as well as the resistance capacity within the country. We also identified several domestic organizations seeking change, some violent and some nonviolent.

A year later, Iran is now much weaker. Its regional threat network has been targeted by both Israel and the United States. Its ally in Syria has lost his dictatorship. And Iran itself has been targeted, both key leadership positions as well as military capabilities.

Our assessment 12 months ago still stands true.
